一、会议简介
2021年南海年会（South China Sea Annual Meeting 2021）将于2021 年10 月22-24日在中国广东湛江举行，本次年会由广东海洋大学海洋与气象学院和陆架及深远海气候、资源与环境广东省高等学校重点实验室联合主办。
南海年会系列国际学术研讨会已成功举办7届，分别由厦门大学、广东海洋大学、香港中文大学、自然资源部第一海洋研究所、河海大学、中国科学院深海科学与工程研究所以及复旦大学主办。本次第8届年会，旨在围绕南海及周边海区动力过程、南海与大洋的海气相互作用、生物生态和化学地质过程、以及海洋学研究的新技术新方法等相关主题开展学术交流，会议提供口头报告、视频报告和墙报展示交流方式。

七、会议有关注意事项
1、参会人员住宿费用自理。会议秘书处会帮助预留宾馆房间。因会议地点有变动，对于已经预留宾馆（海滨宾馆和湖光岩宾馆）的参会人员，会务组统一将宾馆预留为湛江民大喜来登酒店（温馨提醒：如需发票者，请提前告知酒店前台发票抬头等信息，避免同一时间退房人过多耽误时间）。
2、会议收取注册费1500元，学生600元。

3、报告事宜。由于参会人员较多，请各位参会人员严格遵守报告时间。特约报告15分钟、一般口头报告14分钟、学生报告12分钟，包含2分钟提问时间。请在线视频报告及口头报告的参会人员于10月21日前将PPT发送至邮箱odscs@gdou.edu.cn。在线报告如时间冲突，可提前录制好发给会务组。参会信息如有错漏，请及时联系会议秘书处。个别报告时间有调整，请大家注意查看最新日程安排。
4、海报事宜。海报尺寸不大于1.2m长×0.9m高，原则上自行打印。按编号帖至喜来登5楼展板处。
5、由于疫情防控需要，请所有参会人员在10月21日前将健康码及行程码发送至邮箱odscs@gdou.edu.cn。所有参会人员注册时需持48小时核酸阴性证明。会议期间请全体参会人员全程佩戴口罩。请参会人员注意行程途经城市，按广东海洋大学疫情防疫规定，2021年10月2日以来有甘肃张掖市、 内蒙古阿拉善盟，2021年10月14日以来有甘肃嘉峪关市，2021年10月15日以来有山西西安市行程人员不得参会。

线路一：乘坐出租车，费用约30元；
线路二：从湛江机场步行2.4公里，在机场路口站乘坐1路公交车（霞山分站方向），时代广场站下车，步行242米，在民有路站（麻章车站方向）乘坐22路公交车，在会展中心站下车，步行346米抵达酒店，全程大约1小时30分。
交通线路二：湛江西站---湛江民大喜来登酒店
线路一：乘坐出租车，费用约40元；
线路二：从湛江西站步行229米，在铁路西客站（始发站）乘坐62K路公交车（金沙湾观海长廊方向），在金沙湾观海长廊站下车，步行460米至酒店，全程约1小时20分。

South China Sea Annual Meeting 2021

The “South China Sea Annual Meeting 2021” will be held on October 23rd-25th, 2021 in Zhanjiang, China, sponsored by the College of Ocean and Meteorology, Guangdong Ocean University. The series of the annual workshop has been successfully held for 7 times, sponsored by Xiamen University, Guangdong Ocean University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, First Institute of Oceanography (Ministry of Natural Resources), Hohai University, Institute of Deep-sea Science and Engineering (Chinese Academy of Sciences, CAS), and Fudan University, respectively. This will be the 8th international workshop of the series, and the second time sponsored by Guangdong Ocean University. This workshop will provide an opportunity for exchanging and sharing ideas and recent progresses on the oceanic and atmospheric dynamic processes in the South China Sea (SCS) and surround oceans, the biogeochemical processes, the ecological and geological environments, and the new technologies.
Themes and topics
(1) Multi-scale dynamic processes in the SCS basin
(2) Dynamic processes in the SCS shelf
(3) Interaction between the SCS and its surrounding oceans
(4) Dynamic processes in the bays and river estuaries
(5) Biological, ecological, chemical, and geological processes
(6) New technologies in marine research (AI, underwater glider)

Meeting Related Issues
1. The participants will take care of their own accommodation. The secretaries will help book a room. The meeting will be held in Zhanjiang Minda Sheraton Hotel. Participants who have book rooms in Haibin Hotel and Huguangyan Hotel will now be book in Zhanjiang Minda Sheraton Hotel.

3. Oral talks. The invited talks is 15 minutes, other talks is 14 minuts, including 2 minutes for questions. The students talk is 12 minutes, including 2 minutes for questions. There are some changes in the meeting agenda, please check the new meeting agenda. Please send the PPT of the oral talks to odscs@gdou.edu.cn before 21st, Oct 2021.
4. Poster Issues: each poster size is not more than 1.2 m- high by 0.9 m-wide, experts and students need to print by themselves.
5. Due to COVID-19, please submit your healthy code and routing code to email: odscs@gdou.edu.cn. Participants out of Guangdong must have the COVID test negative within 48H. During the meeting, all participants need to wear masks.

Line 1: Take a taxi, the cost is about ￥30 ;
Line 2: Walk 2.4 kilometers from Zhanjiang Airport, take No.1 bus (direction of “霞山分站”) at the Airport intersection Station, get off at“时代广场站”, then walk 242 meters, take No.22 bus at “民有路站” Station (direction of“麻章车站”), get off at the Station of “会展中心站”and walk 346 meters to the hotel, the whole journey is about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Transportation Line 2: Zhanjiangxi Railway Station- -Zhanjiang Huguangyan Hotel
Line 1: Take a taxi, the cost is about ￥40 ;
Line 2: Walk 229 meters from Zhanjiangxi Railway Station, take the 62K bus at the “铁路西客站” ( direction of“金沙湾观海长廊”), get off at the “金沙湾观海长廊站”Station, and walk 460 meters to the hotel. The whole journey is about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
